Away Days

Ibbidy is a wide beam canal boat moored on the River Thames and available to hire for team building or coaching away-day experiences.

She’s fully electric, powered by solar panels, and moves at no more than 4 miles an hour. When you’re moving at that speed and you’re surrounded by water and wildlife it encourages you to slow down and reflect; she is the perfect platform for re-evaluation and reset for you and your team.

Come on board for a day of focused team building activities away from the office with coaching, mindfulness and wellbeing sessions.

Events such as wine tasting, cooking, art, drama and music are also available. Added to this, we have an Italian chef who can either cater for you, or teach you to make the perfect risotto, fresh pasta, or pizza. Food can be enjoyed sitting inside the beautifully decorated interior, or on deck.

Our Mission

At Vermillion Coaching we feel passionately about social action and the environment so have teamed up with the CIC (Community Interest Company), The Wide Beam Project, that runs the canal boat.

Their work is with disadvantaged young people, prison leavers and families with difficulties, taking them for days out on the river. They link up with various charities to offer transformative days out, taking their guests away from their everyday life to relax, re-evaluate and learn different skills.
